We’ve spent 20 years providing high-quality, competitively priced gardening and grounds maintenance to organisations and households in the Bristol area. Our staff are DBS checked, fully qualified and receive regular training. They hold certificates in all the relevant aspects of their work, such as chain saw and spraying techniques, in addition to a number of qualifications in horticulture. We currently maintain over 100 properties, providing a professional and reliable service.
History
Grounds & Gardens was established in 1994 by Brandon Trust, a charity which supports people with learning disabilities across the South and South West of England. We saw an opportunity in the wealth of unused grounds maintenance and gardening expertise possessed by Brandon Trust staff.
The creation of Grounds & Gardens saw our skills and knowledge put to good use and allowed us to provide everyday working conditions for people with learning disabilities. Soon the business began to flourish and was able to take on more people with learning disabilities as staff members and provide an excellent service to more clients across Bristol, where our base is situated at our sister social enterprise, Elm Tree Farm.
In our 20 years of existence we have developed into a professional, customer and quality-focussed business with experienced and knowledgeable staff.
